Thermador announced today a recall of about 42,000 Thermador built-in ovens. This latest recall comes only 22 days after Thermador’s cooktop recall. The threat is the same – fire hazard. On May 16th, GE announced a voluntary recall of some of GE made dishwashers sold under various brands, such as GE, Sears Kenmore, and Hotpoint among others. The reason for this recall sounds very similar to the one given for the recent Maytag dishwasher recall.
