Can you imagine the hoses bursting shortly after you leave the house and the whole time you are gone, the water just continues to run and flood your house.There are a few precautions you can take to help eliminate this from happening:-Check your hoses once a month for any leaks or bubbling
-Replace your hoses every 2 to 3 years with new ones
-And, whenever leaving your house for an extended period of time, such as a vacation, turn off the water supply to the washer.

We found the following youtube video from user bigtonytheplumber that thoroughly explains how to install an icemaker water supply kit.
These kits are available in both copper and plastic. Copper is the recommended choice although a little harder to work with. Plastic is easier to work with and a bit cheaper in price.
If your refrigerator does not have an icemaker, there are universal icemakers available for most refrigerators.
