This bake element was made by Whirlpool and will fit some Whirlpool made brands. Check your model number to make sure this bake element will fit your oven or range. This is a partially openend tapered bake element with a 19-1/8″ spacing between the terminals (see below for other measurements).

Ways to check for a faulty bake element:

1. One way to determine if your bake element is bad would be to look for visible body damage. If there are burn marks on your element, it most likely needs to be replaced.
2. The other way to check for a bad element is to test it for resistance. You could do that by using an ohmmeter. If the ohmmeter shows 0 ohms, your bake element needs to be replaced. Note: Always unplug any appliance you’re working with before performing any tests.
