Whirlpool Oven Range Bake Element (326791)

This is a Whirlpool bake element for electric ovens and ranges. This bake element fits some models made by Whirlpool, Kenmore, Sears, Kitchen Aid, and Roper. See measurement info below the photo. If you are not sure that this bake element will fit your oven or range, check your model number.

There are a couple of ways to check for a bad bake element. Sometimes, it could be because the body is damaged too much. If you see burn marks on your bake element, it probably needs to be replaced. Checking your bake element for continuity could also tell you if its faulty. You can check for continuity using an ohmmeter. If the ohmmeter shows zero ohms, the bake element needs to be replaced. Note: Always unplug your appliance before performing any tests.

    M k 94470906 4.4 Whirlpool Oven that the element caught fire, can I replace the element? Someone sothered the element where it is
    connected at the back of oven? Will I need to replace entire oven?

    i have a whirlpool roper electric stove. i was preheating the oven when the element began to burn brightly like a piece of magnesium until i turned off the breaker. it was frightening. anyone know about this?
