Whirlpool Dryer Thermal Fuse (3392519)
Fri, Dec 1, 2006
One of the few reasons why your Whirlpool dryer isn’t drying, might be because of a faulty heating element or a blown out thermal fuse or maybe even both. Checking the continuity on both usually helps find the problem. Best way to check is with an Ohmmeter. It’s very easy to use and doesn’t cost very much (make sure you turn the power off to your dryer before doing any repairs).
This disposable, one time fuse fits most Whilrpool and Kenmore electric dryers. Made by Whirlpool. Part Number: 3392519.
