This Whirlpool drive motor will fit most Whirlpool dryers made before 1996. The motor comes complete with a pulley. Check your model number to make sure this is the right motor for your dryer model.

This drive motor will fit most Whirlpool made dryers such as Whirlpool, Kenmore (prefix starting with 110), Estate, Kitchen Aid and Roper. Made by Whirlpool. Size: blower shaft: 1-3/4″, drive shaft: 1-3/4″. Part Number: 279827.

    Having a heck of a time removing this motor. I put a crescent wrench on the square plastic piece that the motor is threaded into on the back and a wrench on the front of the motor and turned it clockwise facing the front of the motor. Its tearing up the flats on the square plastic portion of the blower. Any advice?
