This Whirlpool drive motor will fit most Whirlpool dryers made before 1996. The motor comes complete with a pulley. Check your model number to make sure this is the right motor for your dryer model.

Having a heck of a time removing this motor. I put a crescent wrench on the square plastic piece that the motor is threaded into on the back and a wrench on the front of the motor and turned it clockwise facing the front of the motor. Its tearing up the flats on the square plastic portion of the blower. Any advice?

Aw, this was a very nice post. In concept I wish to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and in no way seem to get one thing done.
