Installing an Icemaker Kit

We found the following youtube video from user bigtonytheplumber that thoroughly explains how to install an icemaker water supply kit.
These kits are available in both copper and plastic. Copper is the recommended choice although a little harder to work with. Plastic is easier to work with and a bit cheaper in price.
If your refrigerator does not have an icemaker, there are universal icemakers available for most refrigerators.
Please comment below on your experiences with installing an icemaker or water supply line.

In the video, there is no mention of turning off the water supply prior to installing the icemaker supply line! Hurry up with the buckets…..
