Bosch Adds AQUASTOP® Technology To It’s Laundry Line

AquaStop
If you have not already heard, Bosch has a feature in their dishwashers called AQUASTOP® Leak Protection. AQUASTOP® is designed to prevent leakage and flooding in homes. AQUASTOP® detects leaks in the solid molded base of the dishwasher, shuts down operation and automatically pumps out water before contact with floors. Bosch is the only U.S. manufacturer to offer a high-tech leak protection system like AQUASTOP® in their whole line of dishwashers. A precisely engineered tub and sensor system detects leaks in the solid molded base of the dishwasher, shuts down operation and automatically pumps out water before contact with floors. This eliminates the risk of costly water and mold damage.

Unveiled at this years Kitchen/Bath Industry Show in Chicago, Bosch has added the AQUASTOP® Leak Protection technology to their Nexxt(R) Laundry systems. This feature will be on the high efficiency, front load washers. AQUASTOP® sets Bosch apart from the competition in giving the homeowner peace of mind as appliance caused leakage is the #1 culprit for home flooding.

We have Bosch NEXXT 500 series front load washer/gas dryer. The clothes seem to come out more wrinkled than our other brand dryer (electric) that we had until we moved and switched to Bosch. Is there any trick to using a gas dryer?

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Cheers

I am TOTALLY surprised by the good recommendation you give Bosch washing machines. I bought mine from our Lowes in Gallatin. At the beginning, had the smell/mold problem & it was under warranty so a Service Tech came out & replaced the seal, said that would solve it. More or less did.

My BIGGEST ISSUE is I bought the 4 yr. extended warranty from Lowes & over the past year have had to have a Service Tech out TWICE because the machine DOES NOT LET OUT THE WATER & I end up w/SOAKED clothes that are very heavy & what a mess getting them outside to my clothes line (which I use weather permitting, sunshine & a nice breeze cost nothing).

He’s been out twice in the past year & NO RESOLVE to the issue except to tell me that I should was “similar things” as a load. I DID NOT SPEND A THOUSAND DOLLARS 4 yrs. ago to have to RESTRICT HOW or WHAT I wash. The annoying thing is the Service Tech comes out & runs EMPTY LOADS & OF COURSE NOTHING goes wrong. SO WHAT GOOD IS THAT FOR A TEST? I could have supplied him w/laundry & showed him but he did not do that for a REAL test.

Now my 4 yr. warranty is up & I have a P.O.S. (guess ya’ll know what that means) Bosch. In 4 yrs. having to replace a $1,000 machine IS NOT MY IDEA OF SAVINGS NOR RELIABILITY.

    BOSCH WASHERS SUCK!
